  • Bestsellers:  With funding received from the Campbell County Library Board, the Jacksboro Public Library subscribes to a book-lending distribution program that supplies up to ten titles per month.  Priority is given to those titles requested by customers as well as titles appearing on various 'best-selling' lists. 
  • Audio Books:  The collection contains entertainment and information selections for adults and children.  New selections are added according to the library's approved 'Collection Development Policy'.  Donations in good condition are always welcome.
  • Videos:  Video's are purchased as budget permits.  Donated videos are accepted if in good condition.  All genres are represented as well as all age levels.
  • DVDs:  The library has a sizable collection of DVDs.  The loan period for DVD's is three days, the same as for videos.  Any combination of DVDs and /or videos may be chosen.
  • CDs:  A sizable collection of CDs is available in both entertainment and informational formats.  Donations in good condition are always welcome.
  • Fax Machine:  The library offers the convenience of access to a fax machine.  A cover sheet is provided free-of-charge, but each additional page is $1.00.
  • Copy Machine:  Customers may have copies made for 20ยข per page.  Students may have three pages copied free-of-charge if copies are for homework.
  • Telephone Services:  Customers have access to a telephone for local calls only.  There is no charge for using the telephone but please limit calls to three minutes in consideration of others.
  • IRS Tax Forms:  Jacksboro Public Library participates in the Bank, Post Office and Library (BPOL) Tax Form Distribution Program.  BPOL is a voluntary program to provide taxpayers with access to tax forms in the local community.
  • Voter Registration Forms:  You may register to vote at the library.  Please ask a staff member for a form.
  • Summer Reading Program:  A four-week summer reading program is presented annually in partnership with the Tennessee State Library and Archives for children and young adults through age 16.
  • Public Access to the Internet:  Internet access is available at the library.  We provide fast Internet browsing at T1 speeds.  Each user must agree to the library's Acceptable Use Policy before using the computer.
  • Interlibrary Loan (ILL):  Established library users may request up to two (2) titles a month.
  • Leap Frog Quantum Pads:  The library provides 8 units available for checkout as well as a varied selection of Leap Frog software for use with the units.  Only adults may checkout the units, but juveniles may checkout the software.
  • Notary Public:  The Librarian is a notary public and will notarize documents during normal library hours, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Automated Circulation:  The library provides streamlined circulation through Sagebrush Spectrum circulation software.
  • Library Staff:  A friendly, helpful library staff is available to help you at all times.  If you do not see a staff member, ring the bell on the circulation counter.
